Biography: Education: 1967 ? 1970 University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI 1979 ? 1980 SUNY-Potsdam, NY BFA-Fine Arts 1980 1995 ? 1996 Long Island University, NY MLS 1996 (Masters in Library Science) Biography: 1949 ? 1978 Born in Rice Lake (northern Wisconsin), completed 3 years of undergraduate work at UW-Madison, began coursework in Fine Arts at UW-Madison in 1979. 1979 ? 1980 Moved to upstate New York, completed BFA at SUNY-Potsdam. Final semester at Empire State College in New York City, intensive studio and tutorial work with working artists in New York. 1981 ? 1995 Lived and worked in New York City, painting. Studio assistant to various artists including Paul Jenkins, Alice Baber. Began exhibiting, Drawing Center, Aldrich Museum, numerous other group and solo shows. Represented by many private dealers and consultants. Showed with Ellen Sragow (premiered her new gallery), enjoyed regular sales to businesses and private collectors. 1996 ? 2005 Continued to paint and place paintings in corporate and private collections. Completed Masters Degree. Move to Milwaukee. 2005 ? present Began showing in Milwaukee galleries, experienced increasing interest from dealers and consultants. Published essay ?The Aerial Point of View in Painting?, an historical survey of that subject. Received increasing number of commissions, and established an adequate studio space on Milwaukee?s South Side. Exhibitions and representation: Numerous solo and group exhibitions in major cities throughout the US.
